Chad began coaching at Chiawana when the school opened in 2009. Herron began coaching in 2001 at Pasco before moving to Chiawana when the school opened in 2009. On February 5, 2022, he earned his 300th career victory, ironically against Pasco.
Herron graduated from Pasco in 1991, playing under Mike Guajardo. He was named the Mid-Columbia Conference Coach of the Year in 2020.
FUN FACTS: Pasco earned the Big Nine Conference Title and was District Champion in 1991 when he graduated. His teammates that year included John Cazier (now Chiawana AD), and Scott Bond (now Chiawana head FB coach).
