Head Coach Nate Suggs

Current Team
Hanford

Nate grew up a sports junkie and, like most kids, played whatever sport was in season at the time. Ultimately, he developed a strong passion for the game of basketball as he grew older, and it led him to coaching after high school. In fact, Nate first started coaching during college while leading numerous youth sports.

Following college, Nate officially began his high school coaching career when he accepted an assistant coaching position for the boys’ program at Olympic High School in Bremerton during the 2006-07 season. During his time at Olympic High School, Nate had the privilege of helping turn the boys’ program around from winning six games to a perennial district contender and finishing 6th overall at state, which was the team’s 1st state appearance in 20 years.

Nate continued coaching at Olympic High School up until the 2014-15 season when he made the decision to move his family back to Richland. Nate started assisting the Hanford High School girls’ program, where he would remain until the 2021-22 season.
