The Riverhawks’ season came to an end when they fell behind early and could never catch up in the loser-out game in Tacoma.

Chiawana struggled in the first half, shooting 4 for 24 (16 percent) from the floor. Meanwhile, the Vikings were up 17-3 after one quarter. Messiah Guy led Chiawana with 10 points, while Gage Williams had 8 points, 10 rebounds and 3 steals.

Will Nasinec led Puyallup with 23 points and 12 rebounds.

Chiawana, making its first Tacoma Dome appearance in school history, ends its season at 22-5.
