Chiawana jumped out to a 19-11 lead after one quarter and never looked back as the Riverhawks beat the Suns in Pasco.

Kade Smith set the pace for Chiawana with 22 points while pulling down eight rebounds and dishing out four assists. Donavin Young chipped in 20 points and Luke Leavitt netted 17 points as the Riverhawks improved to 3-0 at home and earned its first MCC win.

The Southridge offensive effort was fueled by Jesse Tijerina’s 24 points as the Suns fell to 2-2 on the season.
